For Lila:

• changed phpmyadmin password from the admin page by selecting privileges - set root password
• after changing password must reload mysql privileges
• returned to installing Moodle - from file browser connect to SSH server.  Opened config.php in usr/share/moodle with a text editor and changed user to root and updated pwd.
• several students now receiving error related to "line 24" or "line 33" permissions in the config file
• chmod a+r /usr/share/moodle/config.php
• next step was to create a database called Moodle in phpmyadmin
• refresh browser page (localhost/moodle/admin) to begin setting up Moodle
