Table of contents
No headers
I hate word processors. If you must use one and want to work with me, please consider these rules:
Use only styles for headings. ^1, ^2, ^3 are short-cuts for heading 1, heading 2, and heading 3 (or, section, subsection and subsubsection, as LaTeX and I like to call them.
Unless you are using italics to emphasis a word or title of something in the references, never, ever apply any formatting to a heading or to text in the document. Change the style.
Never use a tab to indent a paragraph. Change the formatting of the default style.
Never hit return twice at the end of a paragraph. If you want space between paragraphs, change the style.
Do not use tabs to indent the indented lines in references. Make the indent be .5 inches and the first line indent be -.5 inches.
Never double-space a paragraph. Change the default style.
